Renowned dream scientist Ambrose London is summoned to Arkham Asylum to examine a patient suffering from a fractured identity. But what begins as a clinical study quickly turns into something far more disturbing: a man named James appears to be inhabited by the consciousness of Joe Slater, a primitive figure who vanished over a century ago.
As London pushes deeper using his experimental “Dream Machine,” reality begins to collapse. Minds merge. Time distorts. And something alien—ancient, intelligent, and hostile—breaks through from the other side of sleep.
What was once a case study becomes a gateway… and whatever is on the other side wants out.
