Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North American rights to the gripping true-crime survival thriller 10 Kilos, ahead of the Cannes Marché du Film.
Starring Daniella Kertesz and directed by Doron Eran, 10 Kilos is inspired by the bestselling memoir by Sharon Yitzhaki and tells the harrowing story of a young woman pulled into the brutal world of international drug trafficking while fighting to survive deep within the Bolivian underworld.
The film is set for an August theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles, with additional cities to be announced, followed by a digital release in September.
Combining raw emotional realism with pulse-pounding suspense, 10 Kilos delivers an intense and deeply human survival story rooted in true events.
